Hi, my name’s Makayla Parker! I’m a senior at James Madison University, earning my B.A. in Theatre with a concentration in Performance and my B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Ecology and Environmental Biology. I’m going to guess you want to know some things about me. Here’s a small list (in no particular order):

• I’m very clumsy.

  • I once got my knee stuck in a fence.

  • I accidentally melted a hole into a shirt and still wore it.

• Unfortunately, I am a Disney adult.

  • My favorite movie is Tangled (and I love the sequel series).

  • Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey makes me cry every time.

  • I’m currently watching every Disney movie in chronological order. I just finished The Moon-Spinners and started Mary Poppins.

• I am pansexual and use she/her pronouns!

• I hike every weekend. As of November 21st, 2024, I’ve hiked 158.2 miles!

• In case you didn’t guess, I am a workaholic.

  • I ask A LOT of questions.

  • I write, create PowerPoints, and organize spreadsheets for fun.

  • I grew up in a family of scientists and bookworms, and it rubbed off.

  • I’ve attended 31 theatre auditions in my college career and have earned callbacks nearly 71% of the time.
